Sister painting of " What the Meek Inherit". A practice in accepting duality as well as a continuation of the conversation about the implications of being timid. Juxtaposing paradise and hellish depths, this painting asserts that a timid disposition offers good and bad fortune alike. The well dressed figure seems quite erect and cheery in contrast to the figure on its sister painting.
